The short version: We collect your email address only if you give it to us, we use it to tell you about Ombra, and we never sell your information. You can unsubscribe or ask us to delete it anytime.
1. Who we are
Ombra Coffee is a mobile espresso bar based in St. Petersburg, Florida, operated by 42nd Ave Coffee LLC. In this policy, “Ombra,” “we,” and “us” mean that business, and this policy covers ombra.coffee.
2. What we collect
- Your email address, when you join our mailing list.
- Anything you send us, if you email us about an event or a question.
- Basic technical information that any website receives when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the page you requested. Our hosting provider processes this to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
We don’t use analytics, advertising trackers, or social media pixels, and our site doesn’t set cookies for those purposes. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary cookies to keep the site secure.
3. How we use it
- To send you updates about our launch, menu, pop-up locations, and events.
- To reply when you contact us.
- To keep the website running and secure.
4. Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising. We use a few service providers who handle it on our behalf, only to run the services below:
- Klaviyo stores our mailing list and sends our emails.
- Cloudflare hosts this website.
- Google Workspace hosts our email inbox, if you write to us.
We may also disclose information if required by law. Links to other sites, like Instagram, are covered by those sites’ own privacy policies.
5. Your choices
- Unsubscribe anytime using the link at the bottom of any email we send.
- See, correct, or delete the information we have about you by emailing [email protected]. We’ll take care of it promptly.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your email address while you’re on our list. If you unsubscribe, our email provider keeps a record of your address so you don’t get emailed again. If you ask us to delete it, we’ll remove it entirely. Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to respond and keep reasonable business records.
7. Do Not Track and tracking by others
We don’t track you across other websites, and we don’t allow third parties to collect information about your browsing across sites through ours. Because we don’t do that kind of tracking, our site doesn’t change its behavior in response to Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals.
8. Security
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of storing or sending data online is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
Our site isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us their email, contact us and we’ll delete it.
10. Where your information is processed
We’re based in the United States, and our service providers process information in the United States.
11. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we’ll change the effective date at the top of this page. If we make a significant change to how we use your email address, we’ll also let subscribers know by email.
